PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The lighting project designed by the AOM Energy Efficiency Department for the Larios Centro Shopping Center in Malaga, belonging to TESTA, a company owned by Grupo Sacyr, with BLUE Line® LED luminaires, is one of the largest T8 LED Panels and Tubes implantation interventions in Spain, and is called to reinforce the influence of LED technology within the lighting sector.
The scope of the project includes the design and installation of the LED luminaires in various phases. In the first phase, an estimated Energy Savings of 70% will be obtained in terms of lighting. The most significant design elements include the incorporation of the BLUE Line panels® LED P1200-300 Slim extra-thin lowered by means of steel cables, reinforcing the image of the pedestrian areas.
After this first phase, the building will have a first AOM Carbon Footprint Certificate, achieving annual GHG emissions savings of 130.34 tons of CO2 (equivalent to planting 21,724 trees).
